American vending machines aren't that useful for that. The largest denomination in common use is 25 cents and sometimes the machines won't take smaller then that.

To be frank I feel honoured that I've been choosen as the official English interpreter for my family but man, sometimes I wish that my parents, especially, can understand English on their own.
Just today my dad asked me to help him translating a 2 minutes video of an American news to Bahasa Indonesia. A 2 minutes video and after I finished translating it, I have just written 2 paragraphs. Now I'm preparing to type the information back to my dad via handphone.

Funny thing. I was coughing a bit by myself, while covering my mouth and all, at home. It made my parents worried and turns out... I was just having a slightly itchy throat.

I went to a Chinese take out place to grab some lunch for later tonight. According to coworker neither me nor the Chinese lady were understandable when talking to each other. I guess the sounds of two thick accents blended together to form a super accent.

So my team lead is retiring this December maybe and her backup doesn't know how to do the job nor does he know how to do the job he already has and all he does is ride around all day doing fuck all and not doing his job and everybody hates him.

AITA if I undermine him and ask my team lead to train me to do her job and try to shoot for her position when she retires?
