Not prepared as in how the Inner Sphere and the Clans were not prepared for the savagery of the Word of Blake Jihad?

Never actually played BattleTech. Did a MegaMek campaign once though, it was pretty fun.

No talking shit about Paperinik, yo. That shit is awesome.

It's one of his most stable jobs, besides being a secret agent. This second role was also bestowed upon Donald Duck by Italian Disney comic artists, because those people certainly like to keep him busy.

Remind me to take a bunch of miniatures with me whenever I decide to actually visit Sweden. The Alpha Strike rules are easy enough to learn.

They make good stuff. I loved Paperinik growing up.

WH40K is pretty much the mainstream in miniature wargaming land, so it's pretty hard to avoid. BattleTech is surprisingly stubborn, given how it has been around since the eighties.

There are bits of 40k I like, but just can't actually indulge in because the fandom is crap and everything is crap.

What Ethel is saying, Hurdy, is that he knows a bar he wants you and I to go to. It's got garlic. And shots. It's called Garlic & Shots.

Even though I think the Tau are kinda cool, I'll just keep my involvement with WH40K to reading the occasional Lexicanum article, fooling around in the Warhammer thread on this forum & the odd WH40K memedump on Imgur.

Well. ..... yes, but I would eat dinner. They filter the garlic though a 3 ton hydraulic press and a 50 micron screen. Gotta couple other bars I want to go back too.

I hate everything to do with space marines, Chaos, the inquisition and anything related.

But a lot of the other stuff is fun.

It's a great bar, is what it is. But I can't go there without Ethel giving me an interrogation about what I had.

In his defense, it's because it's a great bar.

A new observation: A need and want to procrastinate without having the usual ways to procrastinate leads does not hinder procrastinate. At least I now have a jar where I can put beer caps with a Henrik Ibsen quote on if I fail this assignment.
