Let's hope so. The Republicans are jumping on this right now, as expected. If any political party in the developed world were to be given a distinction for most utterly dysfunctional, the Democratic Party would take the cake.

Well, this is what happens when you're beholden to 'time-honored' traditions like putting a bunch of Iowans in a high school gym and making them walk around until they find a candidate they like. A primary, good sir, would solve this entire cluster cluck.

Sadly, there's been no 'freezing' in Philadelphia this year. It's the Winter without a, er, Winter. We've have yet to have an inch of snow this year. Global warming sucks.

We usually get 100 inches of snow a year in Flagstaff. We got 3 inches last month. It's just been a bone-dry winter, then again, this is the first season I can remember where the entire US has had a lackluster winter.

Had an abnormally low amount of snow in Boston too. Temperatures are into the freezing sometimes but we've not gotten much precipitation period.

Ahh damn, sorry to hear that. The only smallest of solace I can think of is your commute, which I assume that it's easy without the snow. Of course, the drawback of "OH GAWD I'M BURNING" kinda negates that small solace. ^^;

Aye... and I fear a blistering Summer because it almost always seems to follow that a mildish Winter brings a much warmer Summer.

Same climate change, different result. The atmosphere works, generally speaking, in equilibrium. When something is colder-than-normal in one place, somewhere else it's warmer-than-normal. Again, generally speaking.

Done deal!

But hell, if I'm being honest, Indy's also been getting an abnormally low amount of snow as of lately! Compared to the snowstorms we got a few years ago, I've only seen snow a handful of times this winter and it melts before you even realize it was snowing.

The week before Thanksgiving in 2018 we got 4-5 inches of snow. We have not had a single snow storm produce that much snow in one go since that day. It's the beginning of February. So I'm beginning to question whether we'll get that decent snow at all. Unless we get it all in one storm. March can be a bitch like that.
