The switch really is jarring. I don’t need a car to have basic mobility? It’s quite enjoyable. (Although sitting on an ALSA for hours is no fun either.)
It makes me upset that a country as perfectly suited for high speed rail, subways, trams, and busses has barely any of that save for a handful of cities.
