Well, they do have 1,238 locations and we're talking about two of those. In case you missed the sources I posted - twice! - the racist was banned from all BWW locations, the manager and another employee were fired, and all BWW employees are going through training.

They did leave the restaurant. Whether they made any suggestions about what they thought the staff should do with the request to move is not known.

This seems an awful lot like the Nathan Phillips thing, the family that was allegedly discriminated against is upping up the victimization in the article quite a bit. I also doubt that a white customer, in this day and age would seemingly randomly and openly ask for them to move because of their race, even if they were a racist, knowing the inevitable media backlash. I highly suspect there’s more to this story

Depends on the individual. I've had students who've said some pretty racist things despite having no rational reason to expect it to end well for them.

Sounds good from what I hear, they have a variety of sauces that they can toss chicken wings in

One of the things that happens in this kind of incident is that a jerk makes a request that is nasty about someone else. He does not say it to the family, he says it to the business first usually as a demand. The business does not have to follow the demand initially. The family does not even need to know about it. They can move the man and not have the incident happen at all. There are plenty of jerks who have to behave themselves in this world. You would be accomodating him if you said yes to his request about the family which is what the restaurant did for the racist. Moving the racist to another location would not necessarily be what he wants.

Another thing that goes with this is the basic idea of a code of conduct which usually starts with 1) The staff and customers are not allowed to be offensive to anyone no matter their behavior. Being offensive is grounds for expulsion.
