How do we know this? Because the first step toward Communism is Socialism, and none of the aforementioned are even remotely Socialist in any way, shape, or form.

EDIT: Oh, reasons. Mostly that it's a remarkable high-tech powerhouse (economically and culturally) and though anime may be what drew my attention to that, I also looked at the very nature of (and personally visited) the society from whence it came. It's got everything; good infrastructure, good food, and a culture that is not afraid to embrace cuteness.

Mainly because the US sucks and those places seem nicer and less hell-holey.

My place (not the US) is pretty hell-holey, so hell-holey in fact, that our capital is about to sink to the ocean and we also save the best for last: the most polluted river on Earth! Russia with all its corruption is still a better place than wherever I live. I didn't specify because, in my country, there's no need for a KGB-equivalent or a Gestapo-equivalent, because of the mobs of people doing their job and they'd be hella pissed if I specified which country.

I wasn't aware Bangladesh was that nationalistic.

Of course it's not time. It's never time, not on its own. You make it time. If you're under fire in the no-man's land of WW1, you start digging a foxhole even if the ideal time would be when you *aren't* being bombarded, because once you wait for it to be 'time', other situations will need your attention, assuming you survive that long. If the fields aren't furrowed, plow them. If the iron is not hot, make it so. If society is not ready, change it.

Not to be brash, but I think here would be a bit more of a hellhole.
It's the river bit that really gives it away. The river that flows through Jakarta (I forget its name) is infamously disgusting with all of the pollution in it.
