1. And I'm not talking about only human society, as this thread's topic goes beyond just human society.
2. Sounds about right.

Tools have effectively slowed down and stagnated human evolution to a near stop.
Since evolution is continually happening and the first humans have existed millions of years ago look nothing like today's, it isn't a stretch to say that in billions of years, humans will look different, perhaps even unrecognizable.

In 2-5 billion years, every 7 billion person living humans lifetime will have passed. Even those just born several decades from now will not be alive by that point, unless we find a way for absolute human immortality which is extremely unlikely.
The humans that are alive billions of years into the future will look nothing like today.

Exactly, we don't even look like the first Homo sapiens (Cro magnon).

No we don't. There's a lot of facial features that you can tell, that are common with our predecessors hence Cro magnon. Pick up a biology book and study it.

It even depends on what specific things or parts of the world you are looking at. Sure looks like the west is still on course AFAIK to implode on itself but that doesn't mean stuff about outside the west, who in fact might be starting to thrive more or at least may be showing signs of possible change.
What does that even mean, "implode on itself"? Everyone talks like that but provides no specifics.

Yes, especially among those of European and Asian/American descent.
Also, it's been proven that most features that Cro Magnons, Neanderthals, etc... had, were actually over exaggerations and taken from bones of specimens who tended to be much older than usual.

Neanderthals are noticable, especially in features. Stocky and broad boned.
