Great, so rich people and a few poor ones (as a gesture).

Or so I've heard

Labour have been canvassing my area pretty damn hard, which is interesting considering most of the populace is old people.

So far I've not had a single canvasser knock on my door, or had a single election leaflet.

I expect organisation will be a bit behind schedule in many places due to the lack of time to prepare and ensure support staff don't have other commitments.

Huh? Political elections exist outside of AMURICA?

Yes, but they're essentially meaningless. It is mostly to determine who has to meet up with Trump.

This also explains the quality of our candidates.

I suspect my constituency it also not on anyone's list of priority seats. Jon Ashworth is going to win by a large majority.

Especially then. He literally wanted to lose so he could move to Egypt.

That was the second time I was a LibDem candidate in a two-year period; people might be conflating the two.

I actually thought I was fairly full-on with my LibDem support in NSG during the 2010 election.

Well, momentum has a chapter right around the corner from me, so that probably explains it

This isn't unusual. LibDem leaflet distribution in my constituency (a safe Tory seat, for what it's worth) starts on the 16th of November and then runs through the 8th of December.

In a marginal, leaflet bombing often starts early in order to build a narrative for the parties trying to take the seat; but in many other seats leafleting only really gets underway a couple of weeks into the election campaign.

Maybe not.

I'd take the 1906 General Election result map in a pinch, though.

Farage has folded and won't fight the Tories in the seats the Tories won in 2017.

Pretty much the end of the Brexit Party as a political force.

They are going to contest all labour seats however.

Carrying on with left wing traditions, Labour will replace Permanent Secretaries with political commissars.

When His Lordship chooses to stand, he always stands against the sitting Prime Minister.

Thatcher, Major, and May have all been opposed by His Lordship.

It therefore stands to reason that would likely stand in Uxbridge and South Ruislip if he chooses to stand in 2019.

Sadly, I can't see him on any list of Uxbridge candidates - though the Give Me Back Elmo Party are standing.

It follows a similar exercise carried out under the Tory-Lib Dem coalition in 2012 after ministers complained about being frustrated by the slow workings of the government machine. Results of that £50,000 exercise disappeared into Sir Humphrey’s shredder.
