i mean well that's england's fault isn't it? they're the ones with all the political power and iirc they voted against more autonomy for english regions when given the chance. admittedly the system as it stands is super dumb, but we're effectively just going along with what england decided to give us.

oh of course they do. the LGBT community, despite the crossover in the persecution of the LGBT community and the BDSM community, are all too happy to throw BDSM under the bus for political convenience. never believe this "oh we're so tolerant we're so progressive we love everyone" bullshit.
Except no one is born with a "BDSM sexual orientation", and people who practice BDSM aren't denied marriage rights, adoption rights, the ability to donate blood, parents don't send children to BDSM conversion camps, so yeah, not exactly seeing the systemic oppression here

This isn’t about homophobia it’s about public decency.
I witnessed a few Pride Parades in Oxford the years I was there, and I gotta say, I don't recall the BDSM gear and the phallic props. I just remember rainbow flags and people marching. Did I miss something?

Let's say British nationalism... but it's specifically anti-Tory and also anti-feminist of the "TRANS RIGHTS OK" variety? Just tell me how far you want me to turn the big dial that says "nationalism for non-nonces".
I say this as a friend but it's not a matter of telling you. You are the sort of person who is we need to accept is no longer a valid participant in the discussion, that is, until the working classes control Labour again at least. No justification or discussion is required nor should it be sought. This also applies to me.
