The government loses.
322 to 306.
This withholds approval of the prime minister’s deal until the legislation to enact it – the EU withdrawal bill – is passed.
Has the list of who voted how come out?

Ruth Smeeth (L-Stoke-on-Trent North) and Gareth Snell (L-Stoke-on-Trent Central) both voted for the Amendment. Jack Brereton (C-Stoke-on-Trent South) voted against.
Thanks.
That's quite strange as Snell has stated publicly, and smeeth has let it be known to her constituency party that on an actual vote on the deal they would be in favour.

Keep in mind that the Letwin amendment is "we approve of the deal, but we need to make sure we have time to implement it properly".
So no, voting for Letwin is in fact not "voting against the deal" in and of itself.

Almost as if Hammond was .. in it for his career? :thonk:
