New York didn't "ban" Amazon, they said "we're not going to pay you millions of dollars of taxpayer money to set up shop here"

1. The state reneged on the deal they made when folks who begged amazon to come realized the socialist left of the city was against it, and reversed their postion.

His money is not quite a pile of cash it is more ownership of Stocks in Amazon. If he were to sell a significant portion of his shares to make a federal tax payment those shares dip in value.

The 100 billion dollars is based off of him selling very little to meet his daily expenses every day and leaving the company in a good position when he retires.

Reverse Citizens United and institute 100% public funding of all elections, national, state and local. Ban lobbying. Elections from equal-population districts at all levels, districts drawn by nonpartisan commissions and/or courts. Reverse Shelby County, reinstate Title IX review of elections in historically discriminatory states and localities. Eliminate the Electoral College and institute popular election of the US President.

I think that anti-trust capitalism is actually quite healthy, and I’d like to see more of it. I have no problem with private companies, I have a problem with big monopolies.
