Hey, the old Kings of England used to do it. There really was a title of Groom of the Stool, and it was actually pretty lucrative and a good way to peddle influence.

Normally, I would be very hesitant to use the word 'genocide', since it has a very strict, well-defined meaning in law. However, what the Turks (at least Erdogan) intend to do is probably the destruction, in whole or in part, of the Kurds.

I actually was referring to Saudi Arabia's genocide of Yemenis with American money and weapons, but that's right, he is also helping Turkey slaughter the Kurds.

Oh, right. I don't think the Yemen war would count as an actual genocide. There is an intent to destroy Yemen, perhaps, but not its people. But the acts committed there are certainly war crimes.

Well well...look who gets to say'called it.'
Republican Rep. Francis Rooney (Fla.), who this week refused to rule out impeaching President Trump, announced Saturday that he won't seek reelection.

Rooney revealed his decision in a Fox News interview. A spokesman for Rooney confirmed to The Hill that the lawmaker won't run for a third term.

"I don't think I really do, and I don't think I really want one," Rooney, 65, said in the interview when asked if he needed a third term.

Rooney's district is not considered a swing district, as it was won by President Trump with nearly 60 percent of the vote in 2016.

And so should the Democrats (figure of speech) trying to impeach Donnie for political reasons during an election season.

It was wrong, dumb and stupid for my fellow Republicans to try to impeach President Bill Clinton for political reasons.

On Watergate I think the case was clear against Nixon.

The senate is part of congress.

Congress is our bicameral legislature, containing two houses, the senate and the House of Representatives.
