Except BDS is actually a thinly veiled ethnic attack. It might be ineffective but that doesn't mean it isn't Antisemitic. Someone shouting a particular four letter slur at me doesn't actually hurt me but, yes, they're still a bigot for doing that. I'm not going to pretend that Anti-Zionism is some innoccuous movement that has no problem with Jews as a group. BDS specifically has quite a few problems with us. The intention behind a lot of those movements is to deny Jewish self-determination and that's why this specific legislation has them whining.
