NYC is anyways very dense. Amazon should probably set up their HQ in a less clustered city. Theres plenty of american cities that could require some healthly investment.

Really I would prefer it if Mr. Bezos didn't ingratiate himself with various centers of power more than he already has. This is bad enough. Imagine if he got into bed with the banking types?

Besides New York's education department is declaring things like perfectionism and comfort to be white supremacy culture. Not to mention cancelling gift programs and other such nonsense in the name of equality.

I don't want my Amazon services to start suffering because they chose a city drinking a bit too much of the kool-aid. If you're Amazon, do you really want employees coming from a school system that thinks like that?

A fine Midwestern city with honest Protestant values of hard work and timeliness would be a far better option :^)

I find it vastly amusing that the people who claim to be against gentrification like what happened in the Bay Area are for policies that support gentrification like that which happened in the Bay Area.

The $12 billion seems to be money owed to insurers, by the Federal government.
And the sense that it "sabotages" Obamacare comes into play if one or more insurers go broke.
