Looks like Donald Trump is going to have to replace the entire senior administration of the Navy, because they don't want this Navy SEAL back, Richard Spencer included.

Makes you wonder just how atrocious the guy's behavior was that Trump figured he was a good guy. My guess is, simply posing with a teenaged ISIS fighter's corpse isn't even the worst of it.

Also... Yeah. Because a fucking active duty soldier wearing his uniform to a formal hearing is suspicious.

Methinks the GOP and Trump only respect veterans and the military only when they're bootlicking ass kissers.

And Republicans in Congress and Trump's rapid base will look the other way because Trump is not be questioned

According to this article, US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, popularly known RBG, has been hospitalized again, with chills and high fever. I dont wish her anything bad, and I hope she gets well. But if the worse happens, President Trump will appoint a replacement US Supreme Court Justice, increasing the conservative majority from 4 to 5 to 3 to 6, giving the conservatives a majority of 2 or 3 votes, if the Justices vote on any issues along political party lines. depending on how you count it, but stll a majority of 3 votes over the liberal Democrat leftists.

Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was hospitalized on Friday evening after coming down with the chills and a fever, the high court announced Saturday.

“Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was admitted to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland, last night after experiencing chills and fever earlier in the day. She was initially evaluated at Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. before being transferred to Johns Hopkins Hospital for further evaluation and treatment of any possible infection,” Supreme Court spokeswoman Kathleen Arberg said in a statement. “With intravenous antibiotics and fluids, her symptoms have abated and she expects to be released from the hospital as early as Sunday morning.”

Earlier November, a stomach bug forced the 86-year-old to miss arguments. She returned for a public meeting on November 18th.

Ginsburg — often referred to as the “notorious RBG” in liberal circles — has experienced several health issues in recent years. The justice broke three of her ribs in a fall last November and underwent surgery for cancer on her lung in December 2018. She received radiation treatment for pancreatic cancer in August.

Ginsburg also survived colorectal cancer in 1999 and pancreatic cancer in 2009.
Despite ongoing speculation of her retirement, the justice signaled in August that she has no plans to step down from the bench.

She was appointed by then-President Jimmy Carter to the U.S. Court of Appeals in 1980 and appointed to the Supreme Court by then-President Clinton in 1993.

Lets all wish RBG well.

I do wish her well, and while it is an established tradition to wait until after the next election during an election year. Their have been statements from the Republicans and the Senate leadership in the past, they might break the tradition, as it is not written into law. Giving President Trump the option of naming a conservative replacement for RBG before the 2020 US Presidential elections. If the worse happens and President Trump names and confirms a new conservative US Supreme Court Justice before the 2020 elections, their will be a conservative majority of 3 to 6. The tradition could legally be broken. Lets all wish RBG well.

When has Trump ever been traditional though? Trump will definitely nominate someone and we already know McConnell's thought process if a seat opens up: "Oh, we'd fill it".

I've viewed both parties as hypocrites: it's politics. However, the GOP has done it a lot more in recent memory. Let's no kid ourselves: they will break tradition.

But yes, let's hope RBG recovers.

Even if the GOP has done it a lot more in recent memory. It is Probably because they have had the opportunity to do so, with a Republican President. But as you say and I agree with you on this and other issues, both Parties the Republicans and the Democrats are hyporcrites. So it does not matter than one political party has done it more than the other. but yes, lets all wish RBG well.

I agree the Republicans and the Democrats are no angels on this issue and on other issues. But President Trump was right when he said their are left wing judges. But what he did not say is their are right wing judges as well. Like RBG on the left and Brett Kavanaugh on the right. This is why a leftist majority or a conservative majority on the US Supreme Court and lower US courts matter. But lets all wish RBG well.

Well if it is not even a tradition, their is no political problems with President Trump appointing a conservative justice to the US Supreme Court, whenever a vacancy occurs, election year or not. If a vacancy occurs for any reasons of any of the US Supreme Court Justices, I hope and trust he will appoint the most conservative justice he can. But in this case lets all wish RBG well.

But it's perfectly fine for the GOP to stop Obama appointing a SCOTUS justice to fill an empty seat for entirely political reasons.

No I did not say this, you said this above, I never made the comment above you seem to suggest I made or agree with. :)
Lets not deny the issue of a replacement of a US Supreme Court Justice during an election year or not, can happen under a Republican President or a Democrat President :)

The GOP disagrees.

The Democratic party would disagree if it suited it's leftist political interests.
