The Democrats are quite broad and factional, as are most major parties everywhere.Sanders and Warren combined have a little more of the vote than Biden. It’s very unlikely that people who are genuinely left-wing rather than centrist or neoliberal are making excuses for Biden in any large numbers compared to the politically indifferent or moderate elements of the party.

When I was a wee kid, like 4 years old, I thought that for every piece of candy I'd eat, I could just pop a grape or carrot, and it would neutralize the negative effects of the candy. One Reeses Cup? No probs, just eat a strawberry.
