Tax returns don't show assets except sometimes and by coincidence only with the depreciable portion of their property, largely because we don't do an asset tax. We tax income and losses, which is what tax returns show.

So why is Trump so afraid and desperate to hide them?

Do they show a detailed account of where your income comes from? Because that would show at least some assets and conflict of interest risks, right?

Your W-2 form shows where your income comes from (if you work for a business). Interest, rental, dividend, discretionary, and capital gains income would be reported as a separate line item, for which you need to provide separate documentation.
Your W-2 form just basically states the name of your employer, how much they pay you, and where they are located.

Typically you don't have to really supply "documentation" in the traditional sense on capital gain income or rental income, unless requested by the IRS (which then isn't part of the return, it's part of the audit results). And I'm not sure what you mean by 'discretionary', as this term doesn't really exist with regards to income in the normal preparation of taxes.

For capital gains I attached a trade settlement form (basically all the stocks I sold that year, what I had paid for them, and including commissions).
By discretionary income, I'm referring to more "one-off" sources of funds, such as finders fees, or money from things like camwhoring lol. You still need to report it.

In minor Trump news, Donald Trump had a sudden hospital visit.
My guess is, his amazing diet of McDonald's and healthy exercise regimen of riding around in a golf cart are catching up to him.
I'm sure he'll make this about the Democrats somehow. The impeachment inquiries are just a big ploy to give him a heart attack or something. smh.

I've been following this, without watching the video because...because...the story is that he went in for his regular exam early because he anticipated a busy 2020...which is silly. But since he's been up and and about since then I didn't post about it because the whole "Biden sneezed, is he unfit for office!?" bit bugged me and because I didn't want to spend four pages watching everyone do the 100 meter pearl clutch about wishing illness on a political opponent/armchair diagnosing etc.

It's 3:1 right now.

That's quite fair
I mean, it's still hilarious he thinks he's some kind of health magnate, considering he barely does anything in office beyond sit around watching FOX News, play golf, and eat McDonald's, I'm sure he'll be fiiiiine.
... Taking bets on him blaming the Democrats for his ill health thoughIt's 3:1 right now.

My bet is he'd go full FDR and hide any problems he has until he can't.

In that case just like any other US President or world leader and I mean politically, which in this case President Trump does not have and is being accused of anything the Democrats and Democratic Presidential candidates can think of against him to weaken him politically, including his health. Their are many similar ways to say it.
Funny how many leftist Democrats defend and excuse Joe Biden's constant gaffes, for their political reasons and support of Joe Biden, than complain and or make fun of President Trump's health. President Trump does his job as President of America - The USA, those who criticize him or make fun of him are just against him politically, lets not deny it.

Yeaaaah... I don't know many leftists who are making excuses for Biden. As to your last point about Trump, we're against him because he's a buffoonish career conman who is throwing kids in cages and destroying America's soft power internationally, amongst other things.
