Oh really now? Which witnesses have they rejected besides the whistleblower and Hunter Biden? These are the same rules that have been in place during previous impeachment investigations. There are 13 Democrats on the Committee, if 3 of them vote with the full Republicans then they can get a witness to come. If the witness is actually relevant I don't think it would be hard to get 3 Democrats to vote for them to testify.

There is a media report of who the Republicans want to call, most of whom have nothing to do with the issue at hand, and are instead attempts by Republicans to deflect from the issue by bringing up discredited conspiracy theories. Plus a a committee vote hasn't taken place. So arguing before anything happens that the system is broken is silly, especially since it is the same system that has been in place before.

If the Republicans want to hold a new conference and complain that they can't call an anonymous whistle blower, Hunter Biden, or employees of the Democratic National Committee that is fine. None of those witnesses have anything to do with what President Trump did though, so i don't see why they are being called for an investigation into President Trumps actions.

None of the witnesses Republicans want to bring have anything to do with the subject of the inquiry. Plus Trump and other Republicans are trying to out the whistleblower. That is a crime.

There is zero evidence whatsoever that Hunter Biden committed any crime but its quite clear at this point that anything Trump says must be the truth to you and that he can do no wrong.

none of this matters. The investigation isn't about whether the bidens were corrupt, it's about whether trump asked a foreign power to investigate a political rival. Whether there actually was corruption is irrelevant, and would need to be the subject of a separate investigation.
