I disagree. I think he would cut and run if given an avenue of retreat. I think he values his brand more so than staying in office. Even if he doesn't accept, then we can move on to the next phase knowing exactly what his intentions are.

That's the thing, his avenues of retreat are limited. If he is impeached, it would disgrace him, and spell the end of him utilizing his presidential influence to buoy the Trump brand to success. If he cheats, it's possible that he may lose the election. I forsee a constitutional crisis in the future, rising from one source or another.
