It's always weird how most Trump apologists can't defend his actions most of the time in concrete terms (like this, for instance) and only fall to vague allusions of something Obama or the Clintons did and how Trump is better.

And by weird I mean completely expected but still sad.

This is by no means a new phenomenon. You could tell when Trump was having a bad week on the campaign trail based on the ratio of BUILD THE WALL to LOCK HER UP soundbites.

People need to stop treating Pence as some efficient bogeyman who will electrocute all the country's LGBTs the second he gets sworn into office. He's being used as a paper thin excuse to keep Donnie and his rot in office, and if the latter gets impeached the baggage will render him a paperweight at best.

I think that is not going to happen and President Trump and Vice President Pence will be reelected in 2020 as I have predicted.

I used to suspect that. Now I know it's not true. Trump has proven himself to be so spectacularly unfit, and so damaging, he's so far out of Pence's league it's not even funny. Sure, Pence would be better at implementing a conservative agenda, but he wouldn't undermine domestic institutions and isolate the US on the world stage.

No. If people do not have an exit option they will cling all the more to power and thats usually when the most severe damage and fighting occurs. A possibility of a face saving and legally secure exit option is preferable.
