Since when was capitalism particularly caring for morals in the first place? I get that the sentiment is really nice and all, but in a capitalist system, unless said morals are beneficial for your profit, they're not really all that necessary. Right here, a "moral" stance - assuming there is a universal standard of morality - would presumably have cut into profits, and so, the morals went out the window. It's quite natural.

It's exactly why the international influence of the PRC needs to be contained. Its a minor incident but theres probably a dozen (or hundred) more we dont know about it and its foreshadowing worse and bigger things to come.

Beyond that I am pretty sure nobody in the CCP had asked Blizzard for this to do, so this might be something they do preemptively to avoid potential negative responses from Beijing which in turn makes the whole matter even more questionable.

And like I said, it could cover anything remotely controversial...or not. Based on that rule, they could state they won because they used thus and such mouse and it could still get them banned.
