The Christian traditionalists, whether they be Catholic or Protestant, often harbor an intense antipathy towards Jews and Judaism, one that traces its origins to the pogroms and blood libels of the medieval period and, even further back, to the alleged role of the Sadduccees and Pharisees in the crucifixtion of Jesus - a fact that is debatable from a historic standpoint but with which Christian scriptures broker no convenient argument. The alt-right and those inspired by the continental philosophers such as Gentile, Maurras, Evola, and Schmitt rush to disregard the humanity of Jews or else make them necessary enemies of the nation and/or the state. Accusations of liberalism or Marxism seem to follow us, even when the accusations are not that we're a naturally degenerate race or a race marked with the collective guilt of deicide.
In truth, no Jew can wholly reject the advantages of the Enlightenment given that it brought about our emancipation and, in civilized places in civilized times, an end to our persecution at the hands of our neighbors. We began to invest the brilliance of our sons and daughters in secular fields in Europe in a way that had seldom been done since the collapse of Granada, moving beyond spiritual contemplation and discourse within our own community. We became subjects and citizens in places where we had lived as outsiders for generations, our achievements and contributions unvalued in all that time. Even our most stern rabbis did not grieve overly much for the passing of the mob clamoring outside the doors, though we now face novel threats and problems unique to us.
In my meditations, I have wondered whether or not a uniquely Jewish right is needed, one that seeks inspiration and illumination from our own faith, from our own national symbols, and from our own identity and history since we have been excluded by those that possess currency in the political right of the West, regardless of our contributions to those movements, regardless of our critiques of liberalism and Marxism. In short, I've been wondering about Zionism with greater and greater frequency as I find the natural reaction to Jews once we arrive beyond the point of neoconservatism is one of distrust, prejudice, and hatred.
Ya'll killed Jesus.

Not to mention the fact that Jews have been expelled in over 300+ countries and around 1030 times...
Okay, if somebody breaks up with you, then it's probably the other person's fault but dear, if you break up with 1030 lovers, honey, the problem might be you...
