If America didn't get involved (that is, if Germany didn't have a dumbass submarine warfare policy), I think a German victory could be feasible.

It wouldn have brought certain wet dreams projections of some right-wingers here as the late German Empire was already on the road to becoming on a parliamentary democracy with christian and social democrats having the majority in parliament.

The failure of the Spring Offensive pretty much meant that there was no chance for them to win. Plan 1919 would have been one of the greatest offensives implemented and I can't really see the Germans being able to withstand it after the losses they suffered in both the Spring Offensive and the Hundred Days Offensive.

As others have said, some kind of esoteric third position is likely closest.
