Or gotten nearly as much news coverage. Some twitter posts of this have really blown up.

I'd prefer that instead of heckling, you accept his opinion and move on because it doesn't affect you. How would you feel if everyone was teaming against you based on one idea you were trying to put across?
I don't agree that the government should not be allowed to kill, or that people's merit and criminal record should determine whether a death is justified, but there are some points he's made that I like.

Is samadhi an anarcho-pacifist? His view on the situation make me wonder, although I'm sure only he can answer that

His country, if it reflects his views, is certainly anarcho-pacifist. Who's to say what he actually believes, he might have just been messing with everyone the whole time

I'm gonna take back what I said about samhadi being pacifist
He's more extremist anarchist

It's just the mindset of the moment. Protesters will ignore every fact of the matter to say a black man was killed by police.
I heard a few weeks ago in my area a street was blocked by activists because a man was killed by cops... when he shot first.

Remember when Milwaukee burned because a black cop shot a random black guy who pointed a gun at him?

Do you know what year that was? Not that important but it interests me

Milwaukee? That was like 2015 or 2016. I was overseas in jordan when it happened and found out when I saw a bunch of jordanians crowded around a tv watching an American city burn. Swear to God I thought it was opposite day but now I think it's opposite century.

While I do feel it is justified, what with his actions, and the fact they tried everything before pulling the trigger, I do kinda wonder if this was a case of suicide by cop.

It seems to be a case of Suicide by Police. The suspect allegedly shouted "I embrace death" before charging at the officers, soo...

Nice to see a fellow donut operator fan in the chat

You guys too? 8)

Anyway, it's a clean shoot, the guy was armed and was threatening to kill the police before he charged them. The fact that they were dicking around with him for a half hour clearly shows that they were using restraint when it came to lethal force.

A shitty incident, but nobody can be blamed for what happened. The police tried everything before lethal violence, and the guy that died wanted to suicide it seems. Nobody got hurt except the guy that wanted to get hurt.

Just pray for the man's soul. That's all there is to do.

They could have just not shot things at him in the first place and waited him out. 28 minutes isn't a long time, maybe if they'd just chilled out a bit then he would have calmed down too. It seems like there was a bunch of them so it's not like he was going anywhere.

And he could have just given himself up and not resist arrest.

It doesn't take 10 police and numerous attempts by different methods to disarm a guy with a knife or two. Unless he was crazy as hell or drugged heavily, any one of those was enough. It also doesn't take that long to stab someone. Something looks out of place. And that guy shouldn't have been roaming around it they knew something was seriously wrong.

Cops did a good job, clean kill although they were a little careless with their fields of fire.

There was a big danger of crossfire. I noticed that when reviewing the footage.

No the staff and students should be armed

Age appropriate sidearms should be part of the school uniform. However, for most of a student’s lifecycle such sidearms are ineffective against a full grown man, let alone one with body armor. Before mid-late puberty most boys are simply incapable of reliably controlling a full size handgun loaded with full power ammunition.

Full size handgun is an arbitrary statement. I have a 1911 for instance that fires 22lr. It is the exact same size as a 1911 chambered for 45. Those 22lr rounds will kill a grown man easily. Won't penetrate a vest (depending on the bullet) but that shouldn't render it useless as a vest only covers the chest.

Regardless giving kids sidearms is a terribad idea.

Back on topic; I dont see why the news is going out of their way to classify the deceased as African American. They dont say if he was a father, had a job, or anything relevant. Apparently race is their chief concern.

I wouldn’t count 22lr as a full sized handgun- perhaps my terminology was off- because it lacks the stopping power to drop a mass shooter.

A well placed bullet, even a small one, can easily kill. Most mass shooter do not use armor. A .22 center of mass will drop even the biggest human. I'm not saying it has the stopping power of a deagle but it is deffinitely not a bb gun. If you ever doubt it

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/.22_Lon ... erformance

Because a .22 LR bullet is less powerful than larger cartridges, its danger to humans is often underestimated. In fact, a .22 LR bullet is easily capable of killing or injuring humans. Even after flying 400 yards (370 m), a .22 bullet is still traveling about 500 ft/s (150 m/s). Ricochets are more common in .22 LR projectiles than for more powerful cartridges as the combination of unjacketed lead and moderate velocities allows the projectile to deflect – not penetrate or disintegrate – when hitting hard objects at a glancing angle. A .22 LR bullet can ricochet off the surface of water at a low angle of aim. Severe injury may result to a person or object in the line of fire on the opposite shore, several hundred yards away. A .22 LR bullet is capable of traveling 2,000 yards (1,800 m), which is more than 1 mile (1.6 km).

Tldr: I acknowledge a 45, 38, 44, 50, 357, etc. has more stopping power, but a .22lr is severely underestimated.

Better than murder.

Don't charge police officers with knives and you won't get shot. Simple.
