I’d set up a charity. I’d focus specifically on two things: helping veterans find homes, work and integration back into the society they served; and secondly on youth projects in deprived areas, especially places where gangs prey on vulnerable teens.

Depending on how wealthy wealthy was probably just keep doing what I'm doing minus the existential dread of being destitute, possibly be less worried if the positions I take actually pay money, maybe traveling more on my off days, see a few more concerts with the travel budget. Or if we're talking super wealthy that plus anonymously investing in trustworthy leftist political movements.

In all suriousness though, I would probably buy buy off some slumlords and turn all of these backward apartments into democracticly run building, and fix them up so they are up real standards. I definately wouldn't hold onto it, but definatly try and do what I can with it to further some sort of vision. Definately help out my local community, maybe even buy out bussines and turn them into Coops for the worker's there.

I would go to college, then split the money between my immediate family. Grandmother and mother would get the most in the split since my mother has incurable cancer and my grandma since my grandpa passed away. Everyone else would get a split according to their living situation.

If I had Bezos or Gates level of wealth, I'd use that end world hunger, fight climate change, and treat cities with lead in water.

At this point, this has been one of my better threads. Adding to the dislocated OP, I would also subsidize innovative and sustainable technology. As for poor countries, they need training and jobs with good wages. They have people, someone needs to fill gaps in the global economy, and starting business with better conditions might help them out.

I don't know, King Kong always seemed pretty green to me. The carbon footprint was all due to them capturing him and taking him to NYC.
