Should have blown for the final whistle after 4 minutes for the Namibia win!

But that last try was fantastic. The offloads were incredible and the finish equally as delicious.

The first half was a bit slow to start, and the Namibians played really well in then and in the second half, but you could definitely tell that the Namibians were struggling to hold on. That last try was definitely special, it actually made Steven Hansen have some sort of emotional reaction.

Wales aren't exactly crushing it against Fiji.. at all, all square at the moment.

We never do against Fiji really... they are usually such a dangerous side and Fiji always seem to relish playing Wales. Was expecting a potential banana skin here especially as Fiji last game of the WC, nothing to lose and can leave everything out on the field. You also have to remember despite the score they pushed Australia extremely close and were nearly causing an upset there.

Yes they lost to Uruguay but given it was a 4 day turn around after a very tough deflating loss to Australia which they had a chance to win, I'm not stunned that they did lose to them when you look at the two teams rest periods.

Hopefully some of those injuries can be overcome... worried about Biggar though back to back concussions and Fly Half is not a position we have a lot of cover for.

The All Blacks versus Italy and England versus France matches have been cancelled because of Typhoon Hagibis, which now has wind gusts of 315km/h (195mph). Australia versus Georgia and Ireland versus Samoa to go ahead as planned, with Japan versus Scotland expected to go ahead but still under threat. If that game does get cancelled, Japan will advance to the quarter finals.

I'm annoyed the England-France game is cancelled. I was looking forward to it.

I thought I heard some of the matches might still be played, but moved and held behind closed doors, to stop any fans from travelling when they'd be safer staying indoors.

The 2 games on Saturday have just been outright cancelled.

Parisse is fuming over this decision. Which I guess is fair, it's his last WC most likely and to been denied a final match vs the best team in the world.

He's right though if NZ needed to win with 5 points to qualify and finish top this match would likely have been rearranged.

Yeah, this is a little unfair on both Italy and Scotland. Not sure why they can't move the matches to Monday.

I don't believe that Scotland's match has been cancelled.

Ireland get our bonus point try with only 14 men on the field. Now we just have to *checks notes* not lose.

It's the rules of the tournament. If a pool game has to be cancelled for any reason then it is declared a no score draw. It's apparently always been that way, it's just never come up before.

I hear Scotland are going to take World Rugby to court if their game is cancelled. Can't imagine they'll have much of a case if those are the rules.

They have no case at all. They signed up to the rules like every other team.

Samoa have been so disappointing. Given a great opportunity here.

Ireland should be definitely qualified, they just have to hope Scotland beat Japan for the easier draw.

So all those threats the Scots were making either worked or were fluff.

They were going to move it to another stadium 500 miles away and the Scotland fans cried "and I would walk 500 miles, and I would walk 500 more.."

Badumtish..

Great game by Japan.

I have sympathy for Scotland, but they deserved to go out after such a dreadful game against Ireland.

Wales were very poor, but did enough to get the BP.

Some very tasty Quarters with a lot of back story and rivalry to each one.

Looks like a New Zealand - England final on the way. Should be a cracker.
