There are rules that have to be followed. You can't just bend or ignore the law because you feel like it or dont like it. The law is changed by those in power.

I mean, considering that there are 30,000+ different Christian denominations, yeah.

Investigate those who participated in the act, and give them the relevant charges.

The government has no business shutting down churches (separation of church and state goes both ways), but if most of the congregation gets charged, the church will probably fall apart anyway.
