Still doesn't make sense. Erring on the side of liberty would entail the security detail to remain armed, as well as the people they are charged to protect.

A felony would have destroyed his career entirely. The TRO was the least harmful alternative. Seems a kinder approach.

I don't know if he ever investigated that, but I know he was trying to move on with his life. There was also his son (who she had custody of) to consider. She didn't have had any problem with using him as a weapon against my uncle.

To me, it seems to point out that with only someone's word and no supporting evidence, a person can attack another person's life and rights for ANY reason.
