If you mean automatic weapons, legally owned automatic weapons account for 1 murder since the passage of the NFA in 1934. They are literally not an issue.

Because they have been practically banned and are more trouble than any would be killer is willing to go though to obtain.

The Las Vegas shooting was carried out by semi automatic weapons that were made functionally automatic by accessories.

Machine guns actually show up several times a year at crime scenes, they're just not legally owned ones. Unsurprisingly the NFA and Hughes Amendment don't actually stop anyone from putting a giggle switch on their gun, it just prevents them from registering it.

Taking away your ARs and AKs isn't preying on your rights its keeping children alive.

Why is it that no one was using ARs and AKs to shoot up schools in the 1950s?

Or 1960s?

Or 1970s?

Or 1980s?

Why is it an exclusive phenomenon to the 2000s, and particularly the 2010s and 2020s?

They were regulated in 1934, and NEW automatic weapons were banned in 1986. The murder that was committed was committed AFTER the 1986 ban on new automatic weapons, and it was committed by a police officer in Ohio.

No, they weren't. Bump stocks are still one bullet per trigger pull. A bump stock just makes it easier to pull the trigger faster. And it's not foolproof either.

Reverse Uno card.

East Cost "Any firearm that can be modified to fire automatic rounds are banned and all other firearms that have interchangeable parts with the modifiable ones therein."

I mean, yes, Politicians have already proven themselves stupid enough several times over to think that "automatic rounds" are an actual thing. This we are already painfully aware of. However, the fact that you seem to think this way does nothing but further support the idea that you either honestly don't know shit about what you are talking about or are deliberately being this dense for your own reasons. Jury is still out, but I do have my own suspicions as to which one is correct.

The AR in regular peoples hands = "assault weapon", the AR in police hands = "patrol rifle" and then we get...
“Only the police should have guns” -idiots

Don't know if any of you have had a chance to witness the dumb fuckery of elected officials in their dog and pony show to try and strip PLCAA.
Dipshit Rep. Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) asks Daniel Defense to commit to not sell a weapon that tears through bulletproof vests, then goes on to ask pretty much the same of Strum Ruger.
CEO Killoy responds back by saying it's ammo that has the ability to pierce armor not the firearm, then dipshit Rep. Raja says, "so you will not sell that ammo either, will you?'
Killoy had to explain to the dumb fuck that Strum Ruger doesn't sell ammo.
Then retard Rep. Ro Khanna, D-Calif., asked Killoy if he would track crimes committed with his company’s firearms as part of a new human rights assessment.

“Congressman, respectfully, that’s not our job. We’re not law enforcement. We don’t have the resources or capability to track injuries or fatalities.”
TBH, the amount of combined intelligence of those dem reps wouldn't even cover the head of a sewing pin. Complete dumb fucks.

I actually went here and looked through the worst school shootings in the U.S- the overwhelming majority were NOT done with AR-15s, including the worst school shooting.

What gets to me is the fact that any of the bullshit lies from anti gun orgs, politicians and such is easily debunked with just a cursory of searching and ballistic videos on the effect of a .223/5.56 on anatomically correct simulated human torsos and heads show the liquefy and exploding is nonsense.
The other thing is just because it was on some news channel doesn't mean it's in any way factual, most news journos are just as stupid as our politicians.

Should also just be common sense- if it's not humane to hunt with an AR-15 because the AR-15 is not powerful enough, and you need a significantly more powerful round like, say, .308 Winchester or 6.5 Creedmoor to take Deer or Elk, how could it be that the AR-15 would be powerful enough to "explode" human bodies? For fuck's sake, GWOT veterans have repeatedly complained that 5.56 underperforms against the enemy, with multiple reports of individuals taking 5, 7, 8 rounds of 5.56 and not going down.
