You seem to endorse a lot of crimes committed under the color of law.

You know the feds have to keep paper records right? like hand written and then only have 72 hours to find an individuals records. It's completely stupid

You're right, the BATFe(ARBF) is stupid and corrupt. It's time for it to be disbanded/eliminated.

That’s not a legal principle. Laws apply until changed by the relevant legislative body or rendered unenforceable due to constitutional restrictions on what laws can be passed.
Venicilian: wow. Jesus hung around with everyone. boys, girls, rich, poor(mostly), sick, healthy, etc. in fact, i bet he even went up to gay people and tried to heal them so they would be straight.
The Parkus Empire: Being serious on NSG is like wearing a suit to a nude beach.
New Kereptica: Since power is changed energy over time, an increase in power would mean, in this case, an increase in energy. As energy is equivalent to mass and the density of the government is static, the volume of the government must increase.

Do everyone a favor, and forget about being a police officer OR a politician. From your attitude in your posts on this thread, it seems that you'd be ill suited to weilding the authority either of those positions hold.
Gun control is like trying to solve drunk driving by making it harder for sober people to own cars.

Any accident you can walk away from is one I can laugh at.

No thanks I'm still going to try for both. The law is stupid and makes it impossible to actually keep track or stop dangerous persons from getting a firearm since they are all paper records and not allowed to be digitized thanks to the NRA. The Democrats need to update the law when they get a majority in the senate and house who will kill the filibuster but until then...

This is a case when we need good persons in said positions of power to risk their jobs to upload all the paper records to a data base and accidently leak it to Bloomberg's organizations who can then set up a private site tracking all the gun purchases and work in state governments to create digital records of their own, effectively making the outdated law useless.

Actually in Thomasi's defense he seems like he'd fit right in both as a cop and a politician. He has no regard for the law, doesn't even know what the law is half the time, wants to push his bizarro nonsense on everyone, would likely be corrupt as all hell etc etc. That's a near perfect fit for both jobs

You know how people always say "The FFL" or whatever they are called approved them, after a shooting it means they couldn't find their physical paper records in 72 hours. So yes a good person would digitize it without waiting for congress.

Oh then nevermind they do have digitized records, I concede on this front.

Yeah I don't know really anything about guns but I can guarantee you I'm a better target shooter than 99% of the gun owners on this site after I far out performed the non former LEOs in my special police class when we had to do target practice despite being my first and only time ever shooting or holding a firearm.

Fucking DC is so backed up (like 18 months) that I wasn't able to get the license finalized and start working.

It varies a bit per locale but around here yeah it's only once a year or thereabouts and the qualification isn't even hard.

I imagine the ego that the cops have doesn't help. A falsely inflated perception of their shooting prowess can't possibly be compatible with an opportunity to prove one's actual competency.

Big words from someone who knows little about firearms. LEOs don't spend nearly as much time as they should doing training due to budgets, lack of commitment, other assignments, etc.

If you find yourself down in Missouri, hmu, I'll bring my rifles, pistol, and shotgun, and we can see who can shoot better. If I shoot better than you, you are worse than the majority of gunowners on this site. Better yet, I'll host you, take you to lunch, and be willing to put a crisp Benjamin where my words are.

If someone is going to speak out of their ass, they best be ready to put their money where their proverbial mouth is.
