If/when I have kids, I'm teaching them gun safety while they're learning their ABCs. This goes double if I were to have a daughter. If I have kids, I'm gonna have 'em shooting and handling guns by the time they're in elementary school.

Gauge their maturity and physical level when starting them young and lots of dry fire practice with lots of educational instructions/teachings/Constitutional rights, etc.
I also had to tailor firearm training for each kid, found out real quick a one size approach doesn't fit at all, some tears and frustration on both ends, HA.
Also when it comes to live fire training, have the target close, having the kid see a hit on the target gets lots of smiles and boosts their confidence and makes for a much better experience.

So reactive targets then? All of that is very good advice that I'll certainly remember if/when I have kids.

I know this is mainly a firearms thread but can we talk really quickly about people who think BB guns are "just a toy?" I'm not talking about air soft rifles kids play with. I mean like 500 FPS metal pellet BB guns.

I wonder statistically speaking how many people who believe that survive past age 25? Because you're not the brightest light bulb if you think a BB gun is a toy you can mess around with for shits and giggles.

Well if you never grew up around BB guns then you might just think they are a toy it's more a matter of personal opinion than about actual fact. Just like the saying "one mans trash is another mans treasure"

Not a toy, but technically not a firearm.

Is power-tool. Like a staple-gun.

Catching your 5 year old playing with a pneumatic staple gun is likely to get them a stern scolding at a minimum. More if they try stapling a post-it note to somebody's skull with it.

Them trying to stab their little sister to death with a kitchen knife is outright forbidden.

What say you NSG? Are braces a yay or a nay?

Top firearm is a pistol (look at the rear of the firearm) and the bottom is a rifle under Govt. definitions.

As long as that tank is compliant with motor vehicle regulations, there's no reason you can't.

You'll just need a tax stamp for the gun.

I doubt you could drive a tank, or any treaded vehicles, on a public road as far as I am aware. Now armored cars, such as, say AML-245 or even a Humvee Hawkeye, vehicles such as a BMP-1 or such are no-gos.

Third possibility is the Reps losing the senate or splitting it 50/50 with the Dems; both cases are bad.

It would never pass the Senate, and even if it did, the Supreme Court is 6-3 pro-gun and would quickly shut that shit down. A semi-auto rifle ban isn’t the thing to worry about; I would be more concerned with Biden banning online gun and ammo sales, which he could actually do. I don’t need to tell you how much this will cripple the industry.

Oh yeah. Looking at ruling records on such cases as Heller and McDonald, and based on their statements regarding guns in the past, 6 justices are pro-gun.

I’m optimistic about the coming year. In fact, I think 2021 is gonna be the Year of the https://youtu.be/fIxfQlHQ1Nc
