Kim Gardner is a snake of a DA and needs a good poke in a better direction due to her behavior and actions locally.

Let me get this straight.

Large group of parasites break down an iron wrought gate and enter private property that was clearly marked "Private property" yell shit like "burn this shit down".
Couple minding their own business on their own property hear the ruckus and stand at the ready to defend their property, while enduring threats of violence from the parasitic mob.
In standing up against this so called "peaceful" mob they get their firearms stolen confiscated all for the audacity of daring to defend themselves and their property.
Christ what a hot mess. Couple needs to go out and buy more firearms straight a way.

Small note, the gate was broken after the protesters had entered their property sometime later.

That appears to be the case yes. It was trespassing, not breaking and entering.

I see. Perhaps I didn't hear correctly when the couple was interviewed on Tucker? (last week?) I seem to recall the man stated he heard/saw the gate being wrecked or to that point along with the ruckus of the mob.

It is not. Typically trespassing is punished by a ticket and a fine (in the case of Missouri, $500). It can also be punishable by 6 months in jail, but in practice, this basically never occurs.

Ahh. I don’t actually watch the news, so it’s possible that was said?

Not necessarily true Kowani. Depends on your definition of "broken". The gate in question was opened by protestors when it clearly was not supposed to be opened (video from the protestors shows one man holding it open while they march through). Afterwords, the gate is out of frame. From local sources and on the ground witnesses, I've heard that once the camera moved on, the mob broke the gate off it's hinges to allow better access through the hole. Onto a private street... with no easement... with Missouri Castle Doctrine in effect... the good news was that the McCloskeys showed great restraint with not lawfully opening fire on the protesters.

If that DA announces any charges maybe the supporters of the couple and the 2nd amendment should treat her the same or at least she should be sacked for abuse of power.

I'm going to vote "Open access for firearms including destructive devices", but it should be noted that I support shall-issue licenses which don't distinguish between bolt action rifles and machine guns.
So technically stricter than the current law in the US, but laxer when it comes to machine guns.

Why is there no option for 'mandatory gun ownership' in the poll?

IC name is "Blauveldt-Ryszana".

Features: near-universal gun ownership, governmental dysfunction, terrified Christinaslander Air National Guard personnel counting down the days until they rotate back home, and an eternal standoff with the last of it's former oppressors.

Just so you are aware, you the taxpayer also funded anti gun orgs who then are most likely to turn around and use that money to donate to anti gun politicians/candidates.
SAF: Gun Control Groups Taking COVID PPP Stimulus Money is Appalling
The Second Amendment Foundation today said the recent revelation that the anti-gun rights Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence took a federal Paycheck Protection Loan worth up to $1 million, while working to keep gun stores closed is an “outrageous exploitation of the COVID-19 pandemic to prevent people from exercising their constitutional rights.”

The Brady group reported received between $350,000 and $1 million on April 10. Likewise, the Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence reportedly accepted a loan worth between $150,000 and $350,000 in April, to meet payroll for 16 employees.

“More appalling is the fact that, according to their latest tax returns, the Brady and Gifford organizations have several millions of dollars in assets,” Gottlieb noted. “They did not need any taxpayer money to keep their doors open.”

Covid stimulus was mostly pointless pork handed out to those with political connections. It's really nothing special here.

There’s a reason the corona bailouts were among the most lobbied bills in US history. Everyone jumped on that.

I just don't think those taxpayer bailout dollars should have gone to pro gun or anti gun groups or any other political group and such requests for said money should had been automatically denied.

Well they also probably shouldn't have gone to billionaires or the very politicians who wrote the bills, but this is America, and that's what happened.
