The heat is starting to come - we'll see if she can handle it.
Also, Buttigieg is planning to Delaney harder.
Hmmm? Those two tweets are a rather limp argument.
Why would a child of a politician serving on a foreign board be corruption? Obviously, it should be monitored and no noticable gains would happen in dealings with the US. Kind of like a Elaine Chao’s family who has a business in China. If there is a noticeable improvement it should be of concern. Especially in this case where the husband holds a high position
Oh wait it isn’t being watched....
Point is you are suggesting it’s guaranteed corruption. It’s not. Or, worse? You are offering the insipid argument of it’s not perfect; it shouldn’t be done.
Something has to be done and the discussions and reviews have to start. Politicians would LOVE to wait until efforts were perfect.
Fair point. I admit "allows corruption" was the wrong way to put it, but this was surprising because the plan specifically cites Jared Kushner as someone that would have to divest from businesses they were involved in, and the spirit of the law suggests that this would mean Hunter Biden/Amelia Warren as well, even if they have no "senior advisor" role. But you are of course right that this is a relatively minor quibble. The real issue is, and I should have said this explicitly rather than just trying to subtweet, is that Warren was unable to answer a pretty simple and obvious question about one of her policies, "gotcha" or otherwise. Because anyone who thinks Trump and the Republicans will refrain from gotcha questions in a general is mistaken.
Anyway, Biden and Sanders are tied in Nevada, with Warren close behind. Notably, respondents trust Sanders the most, then Biden, then Warren, on each of five issues asked about. As Nevada is the first racially diverse state to vote, I would say that if Warren can win it, she is very likely to be the nominee.
