Yeah, but the Israel lobby's strong on both sides of the floor, whilst we still have a big dependence on the Saudis. Even though we export more than we import, we still need to keep them on our side because we remember the last time they all hated us in the 70s. As I've said before, a divided Middle East is a submissive Middle East, and that's what we want more than anything else.
