New Mexico is not going red, especially since it has a growing Hispanic population. Yes, Bush won NM 2004 but by under a point; Democrats have since then won by 8 points or more. Don't fret over New Mexico: Clinton build base of operations in Georgia, Arizona, and hell even Utah because she thought she could flip them. Tell me how that turned out.



There is a concern that there isn't a Democrat that can light that spark though I think once the field does narrow significantly, and by that, big names drop, then you'll see the party come to a more consensus. Now, would they have the spark that Obama or Bill Clinton had? Of course not, but I think what will drive people out is their utter hatred for Trump; the other side will be doing so against a Democrat. The question remains, can the eventual nominee be inspiring enough to win in the Rust Belt? And I think Warren just has enough. Just.

Trump will campaign hard on the economy, against high taxes, and on no education, welfare and health care benefits for illegals, no sanctuary cities, counties and states for illegals, no drivers licenses for illegals and no easy asylum laws for illegals, no open borders illegal immigration which the democrats would call open borders legal immigration, which most independent voters will support.
