To me it has always been the X button. And everybody around here will keep calling it X instead of cross. But regardless, I don't think this is an important issue even in the world of gaming - let everyone name it how it wants as long as we can understand each other.

EDIT: In fact, "cross" commonly refers to the D-pad here, as people are not that used to this kind of English terminology.
