Iranians, Pakistanis, and Aryans easily get confused for caucasians in the West. Type 3 would be more olive, which I have only really seen in Odia people and Kannadiga Dravidians

Type III is skin that is cream colored at birth and throughout your life if you don't go outside, but tans easily. I have type III skin like my mom, so while she is very fair complected, I'm darker colored because I work outside all day. Type II skin mildly tans darker in the sense it goes from being pale as colegate toothpaste to apricot colored, while type III goes from being pale to being light or medium brown/golden/olive colored in the sun.

Also aryans, iranians, Afghan people and Pakistanis are caucasians, and are also genetically related to europeans, they themselves being indo European language speakers

Huh... interesting... despite having the same skin type as you, I'm practically quite the opposite when it comes to the sun but having my skin darker is never really in my mind. But then again, it might be because you're from a region more exposed to the sun than mine.

However, Type I is the best. Pale, white, nordic skin is the ideal for me. I do not understand this concept of tanning.

Pale skin to me is really a disadvantage. It burns easily in the sun and is highly susceptible to skin cancer. Melanated skin is evolutionarily better and protects the human body. Also I think most people worldwide view the perfect skin as olive colored like the Mediterranean because it seems like people from really dark skinned countries use skin lightening creams (which are very bad for your health btw) and people from white countries are into Sun tanning.

Type III skin is probably the greatest compromise nature ever came up with. You can have cream colored skin if you want but if you don't like it, you can just go out in the sun for a few hours and come back brown colored. And your skin color can change all year long, becoming dark in summer and light in winter. I see this as an absolute win.

Not really. In the summer, yea, it gets really hot and days are long, but in autumn and winter, days are short in Northern China.

As I said, people wanna get whiter in places with super dark skin like the philippines. My ex fiancee was filipina, I know all too well about skin cream. She once suggested I use some which set me off because I love my complexion more than I love myself and I'm vain as hell.

Also as a working class person, if being tan is a symbol of being a laborer as you say then congrats, you just made me ten times more vain than I was before

Ah, my skin colour also changes as well but it's usually only a minor change that occurs in the winter and for me, it can be somewhat hard to notice the difference.

Wait where are you? You're in the arctic?

Nah, just the Pacific Northwest. A combination of it being a lot farther north than most people realise and how it’s always overcast save for a few days each month in the spring and summer makes it so that the sun isn’t often visible.
