I'm a Type 3. I haven't had a real sunburn since I was a kid, back when we'd be out on the beach or in a swimming pool for hours. I've been doing 5k walks several days a week this year so I've gotten significantly tanned this summer. I'm pretty sure it would take 4 straight hours in the sun for me to burn at all.

Ehhhhhh... no. The lines may be blurred but if I walked the streets of Cape Town I'm White. Someone who is Zulu or Sotho is Black. Someone who is mixed is Coloured. The classifications still reflect both skin colour, heritage, and socioeconomic realities in Southern Africa. It would be wrong and deeply offensive to say I'm coloured just as it would be wrong to call oneself a Native American in the States if one isn't.

According to this NSG race poll from 2 years ago, you're right in that the majority of NSG is white, and that most nonwhites are Asian. But NationStates isn't an exclusively American (or even Anglosphere) site, so it might not be a good idea to project US race relations onto the interwebs.
