There's this guy on campus who thinks I'm his friend and whenever he so much as sees me, he goes out of his way to have long drawn-out conversations with me, even following me back to my dorm and going to places where I go on the pretense of hanging out with me. He has many friends, so I don't know why he does this with me and I'm not being mean by ignoring him.

Does he treat his other friends the same way he treats you?

I sort of had the same experience. In this Chinese restaurant where I used to come quite often, I repeatedly was mistaken for personnel. They would order drinks and meals while I passed the table.

Is not the answer most customers expect.

But than, I would actually take the order and help out. Because I really liked the owners. And it got me free food.

So, I’ve got two things, the second being more of a reverse bruh moment.
The first is, I have a friend who bought a house a couple of years ago. He’s not married and has no immediate plans, so he rents out spare bedrooms to craigslist randos. There are a couple of moments from this guy- but the main one is he tried to get me to help move in a piano(he doesn’t play, none of his tenants play, but he wanted to learn). So we load it in my truck(I’m often ‘that one guy who has a pickup truck), take it to his house and... put it next to his other piano. There was another case where he bought a dog and tried to convince me to train it for him. The next time I went to his house, he’d gotten rid of the dog... and gotten four others. None of which were housebroken(he no longer has pets).
The second is, so I’m a technical tradesmen, and I do work for restaurants a lot. Now I speak Spanish, but my appearance is somewhere between ‘racially pure nordic’ and ‘vampiric’, so lots of people don’t guess that until I start speaking it. And anyways, at this one restaurant, the cook and his assistant are gossiping(in Spanish), and they say something like “you think you can get the stupid gringo to take your psycho ex, get her out of your hair?”, and I ignore it. Later the cook comes up and asks if I like Mexican señoritas, and I say “no, es la loca”. The look on his face, man.

Huge bruh moment today. So, I was waiting for the train at my university station to go home around 5:10 ish, and there's an express at 5:22, so I was like, that's cool. But then on the electronic signboard it says there's a local train at 5:18 but it's 4 minutes late. The problem is, they're both listed as coming in on Track 1, and I was like wtf, which one is coming in first? Then a train pulls in at Track 1, I assume it was the late one, and it leaves. Then a minute later another train comes up at Track 2 and leaves. And then I was like, wait, where's the train? And then, after talking to another person waiting, I realize the one that pulled up on Track 1 was the express and they diverted the local train to Track 2. I felt so stupid. But luckily there was another train going to my station leaving at 5:27. I got on that one, so it wasn't that bad.

But what made me go “bruh” wasn’t the dates, but rather the fact that the couple had buried all their kids there, ranging from an infant named Ann, to a one year old, a two year old, a 6 year old and an eight year old. All died the same year. The parents had the phrase “We are so sorry, beloved children. From mom and dad.” in French, carved on the outside of the mausoleum in a marble slab. Very sad.

1904. There may have been some epidemic raging in the city but the mausoleum offered no details.

A 1997 study shows that blacks are more susceptible to drowning than whites since whites store more fat, therefore are naturally more buoyant.

I was heading home with friends on a train and we were playing some console game, I really can't remember which but it had pretty quick turnaround time so we were rapidly passing the console back and forth when one of us was all 'shit, is this our station', and we all jumped off at the last moment only to find we'd jumped off two stations early, and it was the last train of the night.
