I could call you an anarcho-capitalist and it would make just about the same amount of sense that calling the Democrats communists. Any political scientist, and indeed any actual communist would laugh in your face if you told them the Dems were communist.
Just so we're on the same page, can you please define your view of:
Communist/Communism
Socialist/Socialism
Bolshevik/Bolshevism
Marxism
Marxism-Leninism
Your view of the political spectrum is so far from normal that I feel this is necessary.
As an actual Communist I can vouch for that. But seriously, I was asking how we'd survive after crossing the point of no return, not whether or nor climate change is a hoax. You tin hats are dragging the thread way off topic so can't you just torture the people on a thread actually debating climate change or better yet just start your own thread for deniers?
"One does not need to be surprised then, when 26 years later the outrageous slogan is repeated, which we Marxists burned all bridges with: to “pick up” the banner of the bourgeoisie. - International Communist Party, Dialogue with Stalin.

Resource exhaustion and climate change may completely destroy our modern society, but at least this cursed nation of consumerism, youth isolation and ridiculous class, race and gender roles might vanish. Think of it as a silver lining to a very dark cloud

then they reach their destination in the middle of a winter storm see fucking desolation use up what remains of their supplies sleep and die cold and starving
ain't that fucked up shit
and the author passes it off as soothing calming fucking healing because power of friendship even though they've all been betrayed by previous generations of fucking fuckups who don't give a shit beyond being fucking #1 at some irrelevant fucking shit or other
but enough of that
point is why wish for life when you dun goofed and can't take shit back?
why wish for life for future generations when those future generations are doomed to failure to suffering to deaths premature and uncalled for? to the inevitable stemming from actions that were foreseen and could have been at the very least curtailed?

Imo it's natural that a discussion on the effects of a global ecological collapse will eventually turn to the possible causes of that collapse and arguments as to what extent certain parties are to blame for those causes.
The main question of the topic's already been answered several times, and there's not much to discuss aside from everyone saying "yeah it'd really suck" with slight variations on how sucky and what variant of scattered, devolved society a post-collapse world would be.

Fucking lol. The people pushing this agenda ARE Marxists, it's part of their plan to attack capitalism, this is pretty evident on how much they attack corporations for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Of course I don't expect some far left socialist like you to understand.

Then why on earth has no respectable figure blown the whistle on this supposed "conspiracy"? I mean, maintaining the silence of 90% of the world's scientific community over a supposed "great hoax" would be virtually impossible unless they were somehow controlled by advanced mind-control technology from the future. And the scientific method does not make room for bias, because if a result is either not reproducible, consistent with well established theory, or verified by rigorous peer-review, then it's not science, simple as that.

I think we'll find that mind-control tech in Area 51, and it might be being used on the scientists.
