I really hope this is sarcasm. Levelling the playing field would be giving everyone an equal chance of success via the removal of sexist legislation, for example laws that only give suffrage to half the population. Voting for women solely on the basis of their gender is fundamentally unequal, as it entails treating people differently on something they cannot reasonably control.
I agree. There have been some genuinely crazy female candidates who have run in my area in recent years. The woman who ran against the incumbent mayor was borderline crazy. People should have voted for simply because she was woman? I disagree with that sentiment
