It would be interesting to see if the children of elder men still would have the advantages of now.

Yep. If I had kids, I'd be 60+ not because I wanted this to be the case, but because it took me that long to bag a woman. And I'd have to be fortunate enough for her to not be too old for that possibility.

My dad died when he was 63 years old. I was 22. He had been a heavy smoker all his life. But he didn't father me. I was adopted. He did surround me with love and care. He taught me mechanics, growing food and animal husbandry. Last 4 years of his life he even stopped smoking for me (and his health). He never got to see my kids. But I am very grateful for all the knowledge he imparted and for the time we had.

Most people who work with Genetic Engineering are concerned about innate traits that're hard to quantify such as aspects of personality and etc.

But what I'm more concerned about is the genetics behind skin color. If genetic engineering could be used to sustain the White race, even if it is the case that naturally- Whites are doomed to near extinction or permanent minority status if the non-Whites immigrate and breed to much, in comparison to Whites in developed countries.

I mean, we do correct certain issues already, like the defect in the heart that can lead to the development of congestive heart failure. If it could be done at sperm and egg level, that would be great.

One thing specifically I’d love to see eradicated are certain illnesses like Alzheimer’s. But I don’t think, that I can recall, that we’ve pinpointed the possible causes for it so even if we had genetically engineered sperm, I don’t think we could do much for getting rid of Alzheimer’s.
