Well, they can’t vote. It’s illegal. And before you ask: they looked. As for taxation, illegal immigrants pay about 11 million in taxes per year-and aren’t eligible for benefits.

Just because they didn't find voter fraud is no proof that it doesn't exist. In any case, I'm still generally just not a fan of allowing people into this country who, when they become citizens, are likely to vote my money away. The simple solution would be to stop government theft altogether, and decriminalize tax evasion. But I suppose that's the opposite of the statist agenda, so it's sadly quite unlikely that it will happen.

Only exception is protecting rights to life, liberty, and property. Abortion is killing an infant, one of the few things gov't should prevent. Pro-Trump, he's been an effective weapon against real enemies of freedom: The Left, but I wish he were more for free trade, more against deficits. The vast majority of illegal immigrants enter the country legally and overstay their visas/alloaded time.

I fully understand that some immigration policies are tedious and that the process to get into the us as an immigrant is a long one, however I also must say that I still don't believe we should abolish the border or be more forgiving to illegal immigrants. Plus the US isn't the only country with tough immigration laws, a lot of the EU has some tight restrictions on immigration. All in all I think the process could use a bit of a clean up, but I still understand why the laws that are in place exist, many of them were made in the interests of national security and as the need for these laws grew outdated congress never got around to repealing them.

Well, because legality is irrelevant.

If I remember correctly, the percentage of illegal immigrants that just overstay visas is ~40% at it's highest

Melania entered the country on a work visa, overstayed the time her visa allowed thus becoming an illegal immigrant, then got with Trump and had her kid whose sole purpose was to allow her to chain migrate and be legally allowed to stay in the country.

She got her green card when she married Trump in 2005, she arrived here before that. Also there is evidence she worked here illegally as a model before she received here work visa in 1996 https://www.newsweek.com/was-melania-tr ... ted-994609

Actually she didn't enter on a work VISA, that is one of the issues, she worked in the US before receiving her work VISA

Well, if they can't find any voter fraud from the voter information that I think was limited, but still sufficient (maybe). Then the commission is either:
  • Inept
  • Not looking hard enough
  • Or, voter fraud occurs at too low of a rate to be detectable, therefore not able to influence any election outcomes

I think the third is true.

As for the second part, well, I'll leave it as is.

How would illegals pay taxes without being documented? :eyebrow: $11million would mean less than a dollar in taxes per person...or most illegals not paying.
