The latest AP and USA Today Polls have been released. I will be posting them a little later tonight. Just a note, only 5 weeks until the College Football Playoff Poll is first released.

College Football Rankings from Week 6
A little explanation with this weeks Poll. I have now added a color code for the teams that were Not Ranked before this week. Also, in relation to the USA Today Coaches Poll, there is a Two-Way Tie for #23, as Memphis and Michigan State got the same number of votes, therefore I have left the #24 spot blank. Hopefully this will not cause much confusion.

So. Already we have a ranked team that falls to an unranked team as #18 University of Central Florida falls to unranked Cincinnati 27-24. Cincinnati seems to be making a statement that they belong within the AP Top 25.

The Auburn Tigers have fallen plus this helps both LSU and Bama.

No, I was wondering if they were even trying to win the way they kept coughing up the ball.

COMMENTARY:
So, this was an interesting week. We had 7 teams this week with a bye week. Including both the #1 and #2 overall teams in the AP poll. We also had, by my count, a total of 6 upsets. With 4 of those being from an unranked team beating a ranked team. this is going to, most likely, caused quite the shake-up in the next polls due out later today.

Also, a team that that was on The Fringe of the college football polls voting last week, Tulane University, might just make it in at the number 25 spot this week after their defeat of Army West Point at Army. We will see you later today when the latest polls come out.

I will also note, that's I will most likely be adding a section to the bottom of the poll table that shows the honorable mentions in both the AP and the USA today poll. I will either have it as an additional cell in the table, or I will add two paragraphs underneath the tables. I have not decided on that yet.

But now, onto the Scores for WEEK SIX.

College Football Rankings from Week 7
Okay, So I did decide to add in the Honorable Mention/Others Receiving Votes from both the AP and USA Today Polls. You will also notice something within them, the "DFR" numbers. These are the "Dropped From Ranking" numbers that are listed after the Others Receiving Votes. I really hope this doesn't cause any confusion.

I am honestly glad that Tulane is finally getting some recognition for the good job they are doing this year. Even though, they have not quite made a x the actual rankings yet, the fact that they have some votes and are listed within the hour honorable mention section means a lot to the school.

Hopefully they will do well this coming season, as they are playing UConn this coming weekend.

Tulane is also sitting at third place in the AAC West with a 1-0 record in conference play and a 4-1 record overall.

Geaux Tigers!

Two bits, four bits, six bits, a dollar!
All for the Gators, stand up and holler!

Aside: LSU should change their name from Tigers to Bayou Bengals, that nickname is epic!
