The government doesn't have the resources to spy on everyone all the time, so tends to focus on specific "high risks" that they detect through one way or another.
Google collects your data based on your metadata, making assumptions based on your search data for targeted advertising.
And you technically agree to this arrangement, since (iirc) you accept the terms and conditions of Google by using Google.

Hence why I've stopped using Google, but I think companies are still spying on me.

I use the privacy badger plugin. It blocks trackers like google analytics and facebook trackers, etc. And next to that, also an ad block.
I enjoy playing analytical roulette. Google can't seem to work out where I'm from or what I am so the ads I get on youtube have no bearing on targeted marketing. Currently google think's I'm Finnish and a 50+ year old male.

I was in Estonia for a few days, got Estonian ads for a month
It was a nice change from the Serbian ones the month before, time was running out.

Sure they do, and have been doing so since the late 1990’s, and don’t think for a second the US is the only one doing it.

The name means just what you think it means. As many fights as we want can happen at once. Improvement based progression and story, in the arena villains are just dickish rivals, Sith are philosophical pricks.
Thoughts?
