Me: No.
Prof: Really. You know I once went to a psychic and she said “I knew you were going to be here.”
Me: I bet she says that to all of her clients. You know, someone sufficiently observant could easily pretend to be psychic.
Prof: Is that so?
Me: Well, assuming I didn’t know you I could easily tell you work a professional job, based on the way you’re dressed. I also see that you drive a Chrysler.
Prof: Oh, because of my car keys hanging out of my pocket.
Me: Yeah. I also am guessing you live somewhere suburban or urban, but not likely a rural area.
Prof: Yeah.
Me: Married at some point?
Prof: Divorced, actually.
Me: I figured that a man your age was likely to have been married at some point.
Prof: Well I’m only in my 30s.
Me: Nah. 50s at least.
Prof: You’re pretty sharp.
Me: Thanks.
I don’t think he actually believes in psychics. I think he was just seeing what my response would be.

This sounds like an episode of the tv show Psych, which I might add is a great show.

I love that episode. Lassiter's reactions to Woody were hilarious. I think Lassiter is probably my overall favorite character, although I like all of the main characters

Lassie’s also my mom’s favorite.
Woody is probably one of my favorites on there. He’s so weird and funny.

Abolitionism in the North has leagued itself with Radical Democracy, and so the Slave Power was forced to ally itself with the Money Power; that is the great fact of the age.
