Just went through some major catharsis. I hate it how one can feel happy and sad at the same time. I suppose it is unfinished catharsis if those feelings remain. Or perhaps the inverse of catharsis, since those feelings are magnified. It also brings love into stark relief. I don't often show my emotions because I know how strong they can be. I sometimes feel like I will be swept away with them. It makes me realise that I love everyone here, on the forums I mean, even the ones it seems like I hate. Someone mentioned here that they think I'd be recommended to be a mod before long, but I'm not sure that I'd have the heart to do it sometimes in light of that. That's why I wouldn't be a good mod, because at times my feelings would get in the way, so I'd need to passively let another mod deal with it.

Helpful article, now I realize that I have at least half the causes most of the time.

Sometimes I feel relieved when I get a ban because I'm really behind and they help me get off the internet.

Baroque was probably the best period for music, but we had some music in the 19th and (mostly early) 20th century.

I'm sure Ug has a more complete understanding of old music, but here's not here right now.

That wouldn't work as a gag. Never Gonna Give You Up was released in 1987.

What is the 70's equivalent of "Never Gonna Give You Up"?

Oh hey funnily enough our version of that also came out in that period. 1969 (nice), if I recall correctly.

There was an earlier version but that one was made by the MLs and the 1969 (nice) one was made by MLMs.

Also I really like your avatar. Thinking of getting a black cat tattoo in the near future, when finances permit it.

I originally wrote a full thing about Watergate and whatever, but it was ultra clingy, so I deleted it.

Thanks! I thought a radical shift from extremely obscure references to actual political opinions (and obscure references) was a fun change of pace for my flags.

It's one of the things I've though of getting a tattoo of, but I'm indecisive on those kind of things.

I've been told that the more obscure ones are safer to get - the black cat, a rose, maybe the three arrows - as opposed to the hammer and sickle or the red and the black, which will definitely put you on somebody's radar.

If it's your first tattoo though I'd suggest just going for something personal. My first tattoo was a depiction of my dog.

I don’t think I’d ever get a tattoo.
I have absolutely nothing against them and some tattoos are pretty rad, it’s just not my style.

I dunno, I got one back in 2400 BC and you can still sort of see it.

Also, the fact that mods can edit posts scares me.

That's totally fair. Tattoos aren't for everyone. And my partner was calling me a little bitch during the whole procedure because of my insanely low pain tolerance.
