Trying to massively buildup Healthcare and Environment stats but it’s going slowly (very slowly); ideally I’d want to freeze taxes in the 30s percentage wise

The military is being built up as a tertiary goal (however...I don’t want to cross the line into conscription)

I’m still trying to get rank 1 for Pizza Delivery

I got bored of gameside ages ago, I don't bother with it. It's too silly to be a "sim", and too repetitive to be entertaining.

I get every then and now entertained by stat play and have a number of puppets for that purpose. Well until it gets boring again. Same as with Day-Z.

So am I the only long time NSGer who is still trying to use Gameside to build a perfect system?

Depends on the definition of perfect. High pizza consumption usually implies bad health in term of NSG stats. My current stat objective is to push for Book Publishing Industry growth.

I was hoping to counteract the effects of bad health with massive investments in Health and the Environment

Once I mobilize my 12 billion to use their resources in those areas and those badges (for public health and environment stats) start showing up on the page; I can see whether or not (and yo what extent) it’s working

There’s a long way to go though... all my health and environment starts are very poor from years of neglect

It's very difficult to get, some, stats out of their corner once they're down there. Besides the total population is by no means having an influence on the other stats with some exceptions such as black market, government size and total economic output. Which are related to size and thus age of a nation.

Looking at my graphs it appears that many stats took a MASSIVE dip either in 2016 or 2017

I must have launched a government action back then that somehow plummeted those stats into the low regions

Can’t remember what though

My family and I were thinking of travelling to Tokyo three weeks before the Olympics, but we don't want to go to the Olympics. If we travel to Tokyo three weeks before the Olympics, will we avoid the crowds? Will all the tourist things be closed because Olympics construction/preperation? How do these things work?

Should we avoid Tokyo if we want to avoid the Olympics crowd?

Oii, Aussie,
Not that I were an expert, but isn't avoiding crowds in Tokyo already a challenge in general? ^^
Jokes aside - I have no idea as to how this works in detail, but I can imagine, that the construction/preparation works might have a certain impact on where and how the crowds flow, especially in the area concerned. Then again, Tokyo is an enormous city/metropolitan area, so I think it may simply depend on where you go. In districts far away from the Olympic Village and the stadiums, you might not really notice any difference.
Since Lillorainen's geography is currently being overhauled a 'tiny' bit, most information on it posted before December 12, 2018, is not entirely reliable anymore. Until there's a new, proper factfile, everything you might need to know can be found here. Thank you. #RetconOfDoom (Very late update, 2020/08/30 - it's still going on ...)
