Couple months and I could get that Vol.1 of How Heavy Are Dumbbells You Lift in paperback in official English translation from Nordic store so I guess I'll start collecting that manga too.

This morning, I had to work with another teacher for a class and we 100% did not click at all (thank God its only for this day). I don't know if its ever happened to anyone but SOMETIMES once in a while... you just get this person you just close to 100% dislike within a few simple interactions.

There's just something about the way they talk, act, hold themselves, and respond to things that just makes it really really difficult not to feel a natural dislike.

I mean the FIRST THING he does when the kids enter is say: "Hello... Hello? ...Hello????"

The kids smirk at each other and don't say anything, playing some stupid joke.

Him: "Oh you think that's funny? It's not funny at all. You're just being rude. I'm going to talk to your parents tomorrow about it. ... Okay so today (goes on to explain the lesson)"

The kids: 0_0

...

And consider this exchange...

Him: "Are you sure Red and Yellow makes Orange? I should check it (goes to Google it)"

IM: "Well you could try it on the paper with the coloured pencils we already have on the table-"

Him: (cuts me off immediately) NO. NO. That's not how coloured pencils work!

IM: ... ... ???? (I was literally at a loss for words out of shock)

That was the final straw for me. He's either ignorant, and unbelievably arrogantly so (YOU CAN COMBINE COLORED PENCILS FOR %$&%'s SAKE and the kids' been doing it right in front of his eyes; anybody with the most basic art sense knows that you can draw red over yellow and get a new color)... or else trolling me.

So then I did something that probably not so wise, I trolled back.

He asked me to use "double sided tape" to help the kids stick on some popsicle sticks to the mask. I used it as one-sided tape... so of course when he got hold of the masks, the sticks fell off and the kids complained.

Him: "What? That... that's not how double-sided tape works."

IM: "(responds ironically) I have no idea how they are supposed to work."

I have a proposal:

Replace all bureaucrats by cats. If a cat is not interested in a gov position then it shouldn't exist. Then humans will be a lot freer.

Political leadership must be feline. Humans must not usurp feline power and declare themselves to be presidents, PMs, etc.
We are mutant Japanese kitty cats that have taken over a post-human world which was destroyed due to human hatred towards other humans.

Well, a cat presidentship is worth trying, with the hopes that it won't become a mess. A feline apparently used to become a mayor, after all.

Right. The main purpose of feline executives is preventing dictatorships from taking place. No human can get full executive power.

Then don't let them have it. Cat presidents are like hereditary constitutional kings and queens...and they are much cheaper to maintain.

De jure feline rule forces humans to de facto rule via the parliament which prevents dictatorships. Every official must say: "I'm His/Her Majesty (a cat)'s loyal servant".
