Lucky. In third grade, two weeks before my birthday, I was running down the stairs outside for lunch recess one day, when I must have slipped as next thing I knew, I was flying through the air, and thankfully I landed on the mat at the bottom of the stairs, or otherwise it would have been much worse. It hurt like heck, and the doctor said I'd broken my wrist, I had to miss an afternoon of school to get a cast put on, which I had for three weeks. My dad said he never saw a break in the images provided and felt like the whole thing was blown out of proportion to get money out of us; given how corrupt people tend to be, I'm inclined to believe him.

Four years later in seventh grade, I was tackled in PE and got a sprained wrist in the process (the left one, just like last time), and then in ninth grade as I was running between classes, a kid (one of the worst bullies in my grade, no less) wasn't looking as he came down the stairs and ended up spraining my right/dominant wrist. I haven't had the best of luck when it's come to my wrists over the years.

I went on a ghost hunt last year (it was a fun little Halloween thing), and there was a chair that one of the leaders said had mysteriously moved, and asked if anyone wanted to sit in it. Everyone else was like "NOOOOOOO." I laughed and sat in it. People thought I was gonna get cursed or something. Joke's on them. I was failing a class, drowning in homework, and struggling with depression. I don't think a curse could have made my situation any worse.
